Yes. The Shepherd Hotel is a nine-minute walk to the admissions office for campus tours. It’s also less than a five-minute walk to the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, Bowman Field, Sikes Hall, and other parts of campus.

The City of Clemson does not allow for on street or public garage overnight parking, but the hotel offers valet parking for an overnight fee of $35 a night. Guests can text the team to have their car waiting for them under the Porte Cochere.

Yes. The Shepherd Hotel offers valet parking for an overnight fee of $35 per night. Guests can text the valet team when they are ready for their vehicle, and it will be waiting under the porte cochère for convenient pickup.

Is the hotel pet friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we welcome two pets up to 25 pounds for an additional fee of $50 per stay (maximum two nights). Well-behaved pets may be left in the room unattended and are to be leashed whenever in public areas. Only ADA service animals are permitted in the Delish Sisters restaurant or the Thomas Bar. When the rooftop is not being used for an event, guests are welcome to bring their pets to the roof.

Can I use the rooftop to sit and relax and take in view of the mountains, the campus and Death Valley?

Hotel guests can exclusively use the rooftop although there might be times the rooftop is used for an event when it will only be offered to those guests attending the event. Similarly, there will be times the rooftop is used for a “pop-up” beverage event when it will also be open to the public.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests arriving early or needing a later departure are welcome to contact the hotel directly, as early check-in and late check-out requests may be accommodated based on availability.
